GENERAL INFORMATION

• Dracaena Reflexa is a tree native to Mozambique, Madagascar, Mauritius, and other nearby islands of the Indian Ocean.
• It is widely grown as an ornamental plant and houseplant, valued for its richly colored, evergreen leaves, and thick, irregular stems.

SOIL REQUIREMENT

• Dracaena thrives in rich soil with plenty of organic material, such as a well-draining, peaty commercial potting soil.

FEEDING/FERTILIZER REQUIREMENT

• Feed once a month in the spring and summer with a water-soluble, well-balanced plant food at half the recommended strength.
• No fertilizer is necessary during the winter when plant growth naturally slows.

LIGHT REQUIREMENT

• Filtered indoor light (such as through a sheer curtain in front of a sunny window) or a semi-shade spot is an ideal location.
• Never place a dracaena plant in direct sun, as the rays will scorch its foliage.

WATER REQUIREMENT

• Water the plant thoroughly once a week, allowing the water to run through the container completely.
