GENERAL INFORMATION
- Ficus Pumila, commonly known as the creeping fig or climbing fig, is a species of flowering plant in the mulberry family, native to East Asia and naturalized in parts of the southeastern and south-central United States.
- It is also found in cultivation as a houseplant.
- Creeping fig is an eager climber and can withstand aggressive trimming much more than finicky varietals like English ivy.
- It's best planted in fall and will grow slowly at first, picking up pace as it matures. It can eventually reach lengths of up to 15 feet in length.
SOIL REQUIREMENT
- Any good, fast-draining potting soil will likely do for creeping fig.

FEEDING/FERTILIZER REQUIREMENT
- Feed creeping fig with a weak liquid fertilizer throughout the growing season.
LIGHT REQUIREMENT
- It prefers a bright room but does not like direct sunlight.
- It can survive in low-light conditions for an extended period but will grow more slowly and perhaps drop leaves.
WATER REQUIREMENT
- Keep steadily moist, but don't allow it to sit in water or it will drop leaves and suffer from root rot.
