GENERAL INFORMATION
- Philodendron is a large genus of flowering plants in the family Araceae.
- As of September 2015, the World Checklist of Selected Plant Families accepted 489 species; other sources accept different numbers.
- Philodendron Panduriforme ranges throughout the northern and western areas of the Amazon basin.
- Philodendron Panduriforme occurs in Peru, Ecuador, Brazil, Colombia, and portions of Venezuela, but is limited in Venezuela to the region of Cerro Yapacana.
SOIL REQUIREMENT
- A typical well-draining soil recipe includes Decomposed bark, Perlite, and Sphagnum peat moss.
- The soil pH should be acidic. It should range from 5.1 to 6.0 pH.

- Direct sunlight scorches and burns the leaves.
WATER REQUIREMENT
- A Philodendron Panduriforme needs moist soil at all times during the warmer months.
