GENERAL INFORMATION
- Cordyline is a genus of about 15 species of woody monocotyledonous flowering plants in the family Asparagaceae, subfamily Lomandroideae.
- The subfamily has previously been treated as a separate family Laxmanniaceae or Lomandraceae. Other authors have placed the genus in the Agavaceae (now Agavoideae).
- Cordyline is native to the western Pacific Ocean region, from New Zealand, eastern Australia, southeastern Asia, and Polynesia, with one species found in southeastern South America.
SOIL REQUIREMENT
- 40% Potting Soil + 25% cocopeat + 25% Organic manure/Vermicompost + 5% charcoal chips + 5% perlite.

FEEDING/FERTILIZER REQUIREMENT
- Feed them once a month during the growing season with a ¼ diluted complete liquid fertilizer or fish emulsion.
- You can also top-dress the plant at the start of the growing season with rich compost.
