- Cactaceae Epiphyllum produces large, showy flowers in a wide range of colors, including pink, red, orange, and white.
- The flowers bloom at night and last for several days.

- Cactaceae Epiphyllum is a low-maintenance plant that is easy to care for and suitable for indoor or outdoor growing.
- It is a popular choice for hanging baskets or as a trailing plant on a shelf or windowsill.
- Cactaceae Epiphyllum is a beautiful and unique addition to any collection of cacti or succulents, adding a touch of tropical elegance to any space.
SOIL REQUIREMENT
- Standard cactus mix likely isn’t rich enough for your epiphyllum plant.
- Instead, create a soil mix from standard potting mix, peat moss, and some sand.
- The mixture should be light and well-draining, so add perlite if necessary.
FEEDING/FERTILIZER
- Use a diluted fertilizer of 10-10-10 during the growth periods in spring and fall.
LIGHT REQUIREMENT
- Full morning sun but shelter from high noon light is best for their growth.
WATER REQUIREMENT
- The rule in raising Epiphyllums is to not let the roots completely dry out.
- Allow the top 1/3 of the soil to dry out before watering.
- Overwatering is the greatest danger in raising these cacti.
