GENERAL INFORMATION

• It is a very rare cactaceous plant, particularly appreciated and loved by cactus collectors for its fan shape and for the golden variegation that distinguishes it.
• Its stem is covered with tiny tuberculated ribs, from which thick, short, thin, deep yellow spines emerge.

SOIL REQUIREMENT

• They do best in dry conditions.
• Plant them in a cactus potting soil mix or a regular potting soil that has been amended with additional perlite or building sand.

FEEDING/FERTILIZER REQUIREMENT

• Fertilizer is not necessary, however, if you feel the need to do so, you may use a water-based fertilizer at half strength.

•  Indirect sunlight would be ideal.

WATER REQUIREMENT

• Weekly watering will be sufficient.
• Ensure soil drys out in between each watering session.
