GENERAL INFORMATION

• African Jasmine is a large shrub with dense canopy.  The variegated leaves of African Jasmine have irregular splashes of yellow on the foliage, making it an attractive ornamental plant. African Jasmine requires full sun but can also withstand some shade.

• Leaves are glossy and leathery, elliptical in shape and have entire leaf margins. Leaves are oppositely arranged along the stem, and patterned with golden yellow and green.  

SOIL REQUIREMENT

• Grow in fertile, well-drained soil that is mildly acidic to mildly alkaline.

• Allow the soil to dry between each waterings.

• Feed plants with a palm fertilizer 3 times a year and prune after flowering.

• Full sun to light shade.

WATER REQUIREMENT

• African jasmine need at least 1 inch of rain (or equivalent watering) each week.
• Keep the soil consistently damp but not soggy.
• Don't let the soil dry out and don't over-water.
