GENERAL INFORMATION

• Tropical plants in the Alocasia genus feature stunning foliage that can become the centerpiece of a garden or room.
• This Alocasia is extremely unique because of it’s small leaves that look like they’re dancing out of the stalk of the plant.  A wonderful plant that is always losing a leaf and gaining a leaf.

SOIL REQUIREMENT

• Plant in loose, well-drained potting mix or crumbly loamy soil.

FEEDING/FERTILIZER REQUIREMENT

• Alocasias can be heavy feeders, especially large specimens.
• Feed with liquid fertilizer during the growing season or frequent, small applications of granule fertilizer.

LIGHT REQUIREMENT

• Alocasia Tiny Dancer plants need bright indirect sunlight. Placing them 2 to 3 feet from a window will supply them with enough to grow big and strong. Be sure that direct sunlight does not come in contact with the leaves, as this could burn the leaves.

WATER REQUIREMENT

• Alocasia Tiny Dancer enjoy watering about every 2 weeks, frequent misting, and keeping their soil moist but not wet. We recommend allowing the top 2 to 3 inches of soil to dry out between watering to prevent overwatering and root rot.
• This plant is not drought tolerant, and extended periods of dryness will cause leaf edges to brown.
• Alocasia Tiny Dancer will also appreciate being placed in a humid environment.
