• Rulingia hermanniifolia (The "Emperor Plum" tree) is a prostrate or trailing shrub commonly known as wrinkled kerrawang.  Also known as Commersonia hermanniifolia, the magnificent Emperor Plum bursts with abundant blossoms, like scattered stars across the night sky.

• Sunlight:
• Rulingia hermanniifolia thrives in full sun to partial shade, with some sources suggesting it can tolerate heavy shade but growth may be sparser. 

• Soil:
• It prefers well-drained soil, making it suitable for rock gardens, groundcover, and even steep banks. 

• Watering:
• Water deeply until established, then moderate watering is generally sufficient, especially during dry periods.

• Pruning:
• Lightly prune regularly in the warmer months to maintain shape and size.
