GENERAL INFORMATION
- Plumeria is a genus of flowering plants in the family Apocynaceae. Most species are deciduous shrubs or small trees.
- The species variously are endemic to Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean, and as far south as Brazil and north as Florida, but are grown as cosmopolitan ornamentals in warm regions.
SOIL REQUIREMENT
- If transplanting to another container, use a well-drained soil mix.
- If planting in the ground, ensure excellent drainage is available.

FEEDING/FERTILIZER REQUIREMENT
- Monthly during the growing season, using a 20-15-20 or similar for optimal growth.
- During peak blooming season, a higher phosphorous (eg. orchid fertilizer) formula or various organic alternatives can be used to enhance bloom quality.
LIGHT REQUIREMENT
- Direct sunlight for at least 6 hours per day during the growing season.
WATER REQUIREMENT
- Regularly (at least once weekly) during the growing season, sparingly or none at all during the plant's dormant period.
