GENERAL INFORMATION

• Garcinia Subelliptica, also known as the Happiness Tree or Fukugi Tree, is an evergreen tree.
• The trees are upright, with strong trunks and dense foliage, and are resistant to wind and salt damage, making them considered windbreaks.
• In the spring and rainy seasons, the spike inflorescences are extended to produce small pale yellow five-petaled flowers. Leaves are yellow-green, fleshy, cortical, small elliptical, and attached to a paired growth.
• A yellow dye can be obtained from the bark of the tree.
