GENERAL INFORMATION
- Moringa oleifera is a fast-growing, drought-resistant tree of the family Moringaceae, native to the Indian subcontinent.
- This plant from “the miracle tree” has been used by cultures all over the world for thousands of years.
- Although if intensely cultivated moringa can resemble a bush, under normal circumstances, moringa is one very miraculous, beautiful tree.
- The leaves and every single part of the tree from the seeds, roots, trunk, flowers, and leaves, have nutritional, medicinal, and technical benefits.
SOIL REQUIREMENT
- It prefers well-drained sandy or loam soil with a neutral pH level.
- Though it tolerates clay soil, it cannot be water-logged.

FEEDING/FERTILIZER
- Apply the fertilizer dose of 45:15:30 g NPK/plant, within a week after cutting back along with 25 kg of FYM or compost every year.
LIGHT REQUIREMENT
- To grow a healthy and strong moringa tree, it will need around 6 hours of direct sunlight.
- Moringa trees are from a tropical climate, so they need the maximum amount of sunlight you can provide.
WATER REQUIREMENT
- Water your moringa once a week.
- Even though moringas are drought-tolerant, they should still have a weekly watering while they are establishing.
