GENERAL INFORMATION
- Telosma Cordata is a species of flowering plant, native to China and Indo-China, in the family Apocynaceae.
- Common names include Chinese violet, sabidokung, cowslip creeper, Pakalana vine, Tonkin jasmine, and Tonkinese creeper.
- It displays showy clusters of flowers that are both fragrant and edible (they are in fact used in many Asian dishes).
- A member of the milkweed family, Telosma Cordata is a creeper, a twining vine that you may want to consider adding to your garden.
SOIL REQUIREMENT
- Well-drained, fertile soil.
- Filled with cactus potting soil to prevent root rot.

FEEDING/FERTILIZER REQUIREMENT
- Fertilize the plant every other month from spring through autumn, with an organic bloom booster type fertilizer such as 4-10-7, using two cups per plant.
- After sprinkling the fertilizer onto the ground around the base of the plant, scratch it into the soil and water thoroughly.
LIGHT REQUIREMENT
- Place the container in a sunny, warm spot.
WATER REQUIREMENT
- Since it is susceptible to root rot if its soil stays soggy, water it deeply only about once a week during dry periods.
